Essential Food Safety & Hygiene Skills

Essential food safety & hygiene skills is a taught level 1 food safety induction course suited to those commencing employment or who have commenced employment in the food industry. This half day course is certified by the national hygiene partnership which is made up of the 13 key bodies such as the food safety authority of Ireland (FSAI) that have key responsibility for food hygiene. This course will be delivered solely by our National hygiene partnership licensed trainers

Our tutor Pat Flynn has been involved in training since 1975 and has worked extensively in the UK and Ireland. He has educational qualifications in Food, Business, World Class Manufacturing and Healthcare. He is also a qualified FETAC/QQI level 6 People Handling and Manual Handling instructor who is very passionate about healthcare and food safety.
