Our class sizes are a maximum of 12 on computer courses and up to 14 on most soft skills courses. The only course we run that has higher seat numbers is manual handling and safe pass.

FETAC (the Further Education and Training Awards Council) was the statutory awarding body for further education and training in Ireland (now QQI). FETAC made quality assured awards that are part of the National Framework of Qualifications.

What is QQI?

If you are searching for training in Ireland you may notice the above logo appearing beside the words QQI certified or certified by QQI, but who are QQI? “On 6 November 2012, FETAC completed its amalgamation with HETAC, NQAI and IUQB and a new integrated agency, Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), was established. FETAC, HETAC and the NQAI are now dissolved. The new agency will continue to provide continuity of service as it evolves. Yes, of course. In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled your payment will be refunded in full.

No, your fee will not be refunded if it is your decision to discontinue the course. In exceptional circumstances, however, NCU Training will try in so far as possible to accommodate you on the next available course.

Whilst we always try to ensure every course runs when it should, some of our courses are subject to numbers and the dates may be pushed back to allow further interest before running.

We have an Examinations Officer here at NCU Training who is available to deal with all queries relating to exams and certificates.
